Jamaal Grimes, MS, CPT
Master Health Coach
Jamaal is a veteran of the United States Navy and has been coaching since 2012. He began coaching as a Command Fitness Leader while in the military, but is a lifelong athlete to include martial arts, track and field, and powerlifting. Jamaal specializes in integrated strength, cardio fitness, and body awareness. His hobbies include spending time with family, powerlifting, gardening, watching MMA, and reading various books about personal and professional development.
Jamaal is also certified in Pain-Free Performance, MMA Conditioning, TRX, and Nutrition Coaching.

Kati-Lyn Grimes, MS, CPT
Prenatal & Postpartum Fitness Specialist
Kati is a veteran of the United States Navy and has been coaching since 2017. She found exercise later in life, starting with the Couch 2 5k program. This gave her the confidence to join the military, where she was also a Command Fitness Leader. Kati specializes in prenatal and postpartum exercise, empowering moms by providing flexible training so that they never have to miss a work out. Her hobbies include spending time with family, gardening, running, and listening to 90's music.

Personal Trainer & Yoga Instructor
Kathleen Meier, BS, RYT-200
Kathleen has been practicing yoga for 8 years and teaching for 2 years. She acquired her 200-hour teacher certification through Karuna Yoga Teacher Training, with Karuna meaning compassion. Kathleen loves to teach a slow, gentle flow with plenty of exploratory movements. In addition to Yoga, Kathleen also enjoys strength training, dancing, and practicing mixed martial arts. Outside of the studio, you may see her walking the James River trails or hanging out with her two fluffy cats, Beau and Bisou.
